WILD Training Christian Leaders in Nepal

   “Jaimasih” (Ja’-ma-see) or “Victory to the Messiah.”  That is how Christians welcome one another in the country of Nepal.  You press your hands together as if you were praying and slightly bow when you meet up with another Christian.    

   During the last days of October and early November, Mike Prom, International Director of WILD (Wise Intentional Leadership Development), traveled to Nepal to meet with WILD Regional Director Ram Prasad Shrestha and the WILD Nepali team, and to team teach with Ram, WILD spiritual leadership to members of the Nepali Christian Sports Fellowship.  Twenty enthusiastic men and women enjoyed two days of training from Ram and Mike.  Along with the training received for their ministry, the members now will include leadership training as part of their teaching tool box.  

   Prior to this training, the WILD team sat down with Mike to share updates of WILD activities they have been involved in, Additionally the team shared with Mike 2019 WILD plans for trainings to be held throughout Nepal and goals of the team.  In conjunction with the International Office, Nepal team plans to purchase a vehicle for WILD use.    With current road conditions Nepalis experience, WILD is planning to purchase a Bolaro Jeep.
