Non-Prophetic Predictions for 2019 and Beyond

   Disclaimer: I make no claims of being a prophet, especially as it relates to modern religious hucksters who anoint themselves with that title.  I’m a history buff and skeptical observer of modern secular and “Christian” trends.  That means taking what has happened in the past. comparing it to recent developments and taking the overall track record to its potential conclusion. 

   Expect disappointment if you’re looking for a “happy happy joy joy” view of the future.   Being honest and straightforward to the point of bluntness is my style.  Combine what has been taking place with man’s sin nature, and it’s going to be a gut-wrenching ride for faithful Christians in 2019 and beyond.

   Will there be a need for an underground church in America?  The nation isn’t a huge generic blob, so think regionally.  Those who live on the west coast and the northeast could move toward meeting underground as government blatantly favors sodomites, secularists and atheists.  Believers in the south and rural Midwest will have to deal with the continuing compromise, neutering and spiritual surrender of American “churchianty,” but flyover country may not be as hostile as places such as California and Massachusetts.
