Always Choose to Be Kind

   I have the privilege of living on a farm in western Kentucky, where we grow corn and soybeans and rotate these crops annually.  This year we’ll grow corn again, and I’m looking forward to it…for oh how I love to watch the corn grow, from planting time to harvest time.  There’s something spiritual about it to me, an observation of a natural process that prompts me to sit on the porch and ponder a deeper supernatural process that’s going on within me. But, I’ll save that conversation with you, for another time.

   Today, I want to share with you something that occurred a few months back here on the farm, that God has used in my life to show me something else regarding His grace, love and kindness in regards to all of us in the natural world. 

   Living out in the country is a blessing in and of itself, but from time to time we have to deal with some things that get dropped off on the road in front of our farm.  Some folks have a tendency to discard unwanted things on our country road… trash, tires, broken furniture, all kinds of stuff.  Even dogs and cats on occasion! And when they do, we have to tend to it.
