Both Bills Are Bad

   What is the most important right every human being should have? Is it the right to say whatever you want?  Or maybe the right to carry a gun? Perhaps you would agree with me that the most valuable right we can possess is the right to life. Without life, we would not be able to obtain any other rights. 

   Devastatingly, since 1973, well over 60 million Americans’ right to life has been taken away. Through abortion and IVF, the most defenseless among us have been tortured, murdered, and disposed of. Recently, abortion through the third trimester has been legalized in New York. In Iowa, a heartbeat bill has been rejected by a state Judge. The way I see it, both bills are immoral.

   The New York Governor passed the Reproductive Health Act which allows a woman at any stage in her pregnancy to take the life of her child/children. Women can choose to hire a physician, nurse practitioner, midwife, or physician assistant to perform this so-called “surgery.” 

   The only restriction on this Bill is, the “health of the mother” must be in jeopardy. This can be mental health, emotional health, financial health, or physical health. Many doctors have publicly come out to make it clear that there is NEVER a medical reason to have an abortion.
