It’s not that any of us find unanswered questions easy to deal with. We look back on the painful things that have happened in our lives, and terrible thoughts sometimes flood our minds. “Why didn’t GOD do something?” “Where was HE?” “Did HE care?” “Does HE care?” “How could HE allow me to feel so much pain?” “How could HE allow such a young child to die so violently?” “Why would HE allow me to be raped, assaulted, or robber?” “Why?” “WHY?!!?!”
Some of us, unable to get an answer to our gut-wrenching questions, finally decide to turn away from GOD. Forgetting that those who are doing the hurting are disobeying GOD in what they do, or did; forgetting that many of us would also be destroyed if GOD were to stop all sin right here and now by judging all sinners; forgetting that it is HIS grace and mercy as well as HIS desire that none who can be saved be lost.
