National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2

Editor, Wisconsin Christian News:
On the first Thursday of May, believers across our nation will gather and mobilize unified prayer for America.  This year’s theme is “LOVE ONE ANOTHER” based on John 13:34.  We are praying the love of God would permeate every sector of society and bring about godly transformation in the areas of government, military, media arts, business, education, church, family and for the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America.

I, Joleen Helbig, Wisconsin National Day of Prayer State Coordinator, invite you to join us in Madison, host your own prayer time, or attend one locally.  The www.nationaldayofprayer.org website has prayer guides, bookmarks and other helpful tools to easily organize this time of prayer for our nation.  This website allows you to “Post” your “Event” or “Find” an event in your area.  It is extremely important to post your event online so others can connect with you.  Scripturally, we want to be in agreement and protect the integrity of the day, so a brief statement of faith is given.  2 Timothy 3:16 sums it up.

What was the impact of the National Day of Prayer in 2018?  The 2018 impact Report was released and it estimated 510 million people around the globe participated.  Here are a few highlights to encourage you.
