In Three-Part Harmony

   There is a type of question that goes something like this:  “have you stopped beating your spouse yet?”  Wait what?  Without ever having answered the question, you are already guilty.  It’s called a loaded question and if you are a Christian, conservative, or perhaps a libertarian, you have more than likely been asked one of those loaded questions, meant to confirm a character flaw that you are assumed to possess.

   For example, let’s say that you attend a meeting where your city is discussing issues with regard to extending LGBTQP+ “rights.”  You are expected to believe in equality — and of course that must include everyone, right? Therefore, you MUST agree that sexual perversion as a life style choice is acceptable, and if you dare answer to the negative you are a bigoted, misogynistic, Bible-thumping Christian xenophobe. You get the idea.  If you carry any form of traditional biblical/conservative standards you are assumed to be a moral cave man that does not care about the feelings of others.  You are trapped, shown to be a bad example of humanity, often times without ever having said a word.
