Gearing up For Summer Activities at RBC

   It’s springtime and it is muddy outside, but we aren’t complaining! We have not gotten any more snow and we are starting to believe we may have seen the last of it! There’s been a lot of basements flooding with all of the extra water, and ours was no exception. Thankfully, nothing was wrecked and there was no permanent damage done, just some clean up of the water.

   On that note, thank you to those who have given toward a new RBC home/property. We will be having an RBC board meeting on April 27 and will be discussing the RBC board’s vision for this endeavor.

   Thank you for praying...we have 6 VBS teachers!  Please continue to pray that they would not be deterred from their commitment with us, and that God prepares their hearts to serve and minister this summer with RBC. We are also praying for Denese Vanberg, who is writing the VBS curriculum. We appreciate her talent and creativity (not something we are especially gifted with), and look forward to working with her as she helps train our VBS staff in the beginning of June here at the RBC house.

   Several churches have already called to ask us to schedule a VBS at their church, and we have already started scheduling. We hope to have all the weeks filled soon. In the next couple of months, we will be organizing the office and all VBS supplies in preparation for the summer’s ministries.
