The Greatest of All Time

   No, we are not going to talk about  Cassius Clay nor the World War II generation,  although a case can be made for both. What we are going to talk about is how our current generation, like all others before us, firmly believes that we are the “greatest” generation ever. Oh, if only society had our generation’s genius a hundred years ago, a thousand years ago or even “in the beginning.”  Think about how much better the world would be.

   We, in this advanced generation of the late 20th, early 21st century, believe that we have done everything short of making the wheel more round. Just look at us. We are soon to develop cars that run pollution free on batteries that will take less time to re-charge than it does to fill up the antiquated carbon spewing gasoline engines.  We, as well, envision the day when human androids and artificial intelligence will replace the average worker and God willing, the common politician.    
                         
   And socially, are you kidding me?  What generation has been more multicultural and diverse, more demanding on its citizens to be fair and balanced?  We are rapidly approaching the point where all mankind is basically the same, E Pluribus Unum, “out of many, one.”  We can marry who we want or even WHAT we want, as many time ...
