My Final Article...Into the Wilderness

   “And He withdrew Himself into the wilderness, and prayed.”  (Luke 5:16).

   I am going to tell you what the Lord has put in my heart recently. What I am going to share with you may not seem to make sense, but I know what the Lord has spoken to my heart.

    Every year I go on vacation to our lake property in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. One of the favorite things I like to do is go for an early morning walk with the Lord. I have some of the best talks with the Lord up there on those back roads. God has spoken many things to me through the years. It was there that He put it in my heart to start reaching out to the remnant believers scattered all across the State of Wisconsin. Since then my church has ministered in at least eighteen cities throughout Wisconsin. What we typically did was hold revival meetings Friday evening and Saturday morning and afternoon. Our purpose was to encourage the remnant believers from all around those cities.

   So many Christians have grown discouraged with modern churchianity. Our hope was to see the remnant revived and for them to find other remnant believers they could connect with. We also had a desire to see churches start up, churches that simply loved to hear the truth preached with authority and power. The Lord spoke to me one time up there in the U.P. that if we would minister to His sheep, He would raise up able ministers ...
