A Call for Dads & Sons to ‘Be Bold!’

   We live in a time of political correctness where it is stressed to be tolerant of all EXCEPT those who subscribe to Biblical Christianity.   Today’s society does not tolerate believers who stand up for their faith and instead shames them for daring to uphold Biblical truth.  This has caused many a spine to turn to jelly and individuals often fade into the shadows rather than being ready to give answers to the curveballs thrown by the world.

   Sadly, passing absolute truth on to the next generation is often neglected.  This leaves our children and teens unprepared and unequipped to respond to those who are skeptical of Biblical Christianity.  By failing to pass truth on to the next generation we communicate the message that being liked or being popular is more important that standing for what is right.

   Addressing this important need, Trail Ridge Camp, just outside of Hillsboro Wisconsin invites fathers and sons to attend the 6th Annual Father/Son Retreat October 11-13.  (Trail Ridge Camp is located about mid-way between Wisconsin Dells and Madison a short distance from Highway 33.)  Speaking at this weekend retreat will be Carl Kerby from Reasons for Hope on the theme “Be Bold.”
