I Am Strong, But I Am Tired

      Have you ever had one of those days where you just feel like “throwing in the towel” and giving up?  I’ve had quite a few of those lately.   Working in Christian ministry can be very overwhelming, and very discouraging at times.  Jesus Himself said it would be this way.
 
   In John, Chapter 16, Jesus explained to His disciples, “They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.  And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor Me.”
 
   Indeed.  After 20 years of working in full time ministry with Wisconsin Christian News, I am, indeed “put out of the synogogues,” or in our case, the churches.  After 20 years of perseverence and struggles and working extremely hard and extremely long hours day after day, in an effort to get God’s Word and TRUTH out to the world, I have merely a handful of pastors that will even speak to me.  Most despise what we do, because our newspaper is not “politically correct.” They say I’m “too harsh,” “too judgmental,” and not “loving” as I seek to provide information, education and inspiration in regard to all the things that are going ...
