Lesson Learned as God Turned Near-Fatal Car Crash Into Good

Recently I had an experience showing me the necessity of always listening to the Holy Spirit. On my way home Friday night, the time just past 7:30, I was traveling on an open road at the normal 55 mph speed limit.
Suddenly, I was struck from behind by a hit and run drunk driver. The sky was blue and clear, my lap belt was neatly buckled with the shoulder harness, but it still did me no good.
The result was a tragedy in the making as my car was run off the road 70 yards into an open field. Not the worse you might say? Much different, I assure you. You see, it wasnt too much time earlier that I saw a vision of Gods protection around me. Keeping me steadfast in the faith of His Word, I saw what appeared to be several guardian angels waiting to come down out of heaven.
Now, I have had visions and dreams before, but this one was unfamiliar, and I didnt realize it was preparing me for what was about to happen. Thinking back across that day, I can recall several times where the opportunity was there to do other things such as stop and get something to eat or pick up a movie, buy some groceries and even pass out some tracts. The trouble was, each time I sensed the Holy Spirits leading - that inner voice saying stop here or go there - it was disregarded. One time I even passed by what appeared to be a woman changing a tire and even as a Christian I still had my priorities in mind and did not stop to help.
