This Year, Nobody Has To Vote For The Lesser Of Two Evils

   HOW MANY TIMES have you cast a ballot for an unpleasing political candidate simply to keep an even more unpleasing candidate from the office? If you’re a typical American voter and no longer wet behind the ears, you’ve done it many times.

   Over the last 80 years, that “lesser of two evils” choice has become a commonplace where it never really had been before. This is because over that 80 years audacious hobgoblin-floggers (losthorizons.com/art/Clips/HobgoblinFloggers.jpg) have skillfully exploited fears they have excited in the public mind and ignorance they have nurtured about the limited scope of the income tax to attach more and more power to the office they hold — power which will be wielded by each of their successors.

   As a consequence, over that 80 years each politician winning high office has become more and more capable of doing great harm to you and your children. In the case of federal office-holders, the threat extends to even non-Americans and their children, and to the world overall.

   In light of these threats, prudence has compelled American voters to hold their noses and vote for folks their grandparents would have hooted off the stage, if not committed them for psychiatric evaluation, because the other sociopath seeking the office is even hairier and scarier.
