The Cords of Death

   Do you have a secret you live with, and you are afraid to tell anyone what it is? Do you fear that your secret is something most Christians would call a sin? If you do, I would imagine you have tried many times and many things, privately, to overcome or eradicate yourself of this secret. If you have carried this secret for a long time, I would number the times you have asked God to remove this secret from your life at “many.”  I would imagine that you have gone forward at conferences for prayer but never vocalized your secret. I wonder if your fear of telling the secret is because you think you are the only person who has this secret and others will reject you or treat you differently if they find out. If any of the above is going on in your life, you share something in common with many Christian people.

   Here are some Bible truths: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.  No human is sinless... everyone falls short, not just you. “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man.” 1 Corinthians 10:13.  There is no sin or temptation that is not common to everyone. Satan is a liar, deceiver and the accuser. Whatever the secret is, you are not the only one with that same secret.
