Disaster Strikes Ministries, Devastates People in Africa

   Due to countries throughout the world following basically the same COVID-19 standards as America, schools, many business, churches and ministry activities have been shut down.  When people do not attend church, there are no offerings (as the great majority do not have online giving) and pastors and ministry personal are not paid.  

   With countries being shut down and markets greatly curtained, food shortages are resulting.  Starvation and famine are real growing possibilities.

   From Pastor Edward Baleke, WILD (Wise Intentional Leadership Development) East Africa Regional Director: 

   “Greetings to you and family too, we are fine and well in the midst of what is happening here in Uganda and around the world.  The virus has greatly affected us due to the total lock down, with no personal cars, buses or taxis allowed to travel unless they have permission and a sticker from the Resident District Commissioner and Boda Boda (motor cycle taxis) not allowed to carry passengers.”

   Some have been following what flooding and mudslides have done to Burundi from the WILD prayer.  WILD now has reports that due to flooding, northern parts of Zambia and Malawi plus parts of Rwanda, Uganda and Democratic Republic of Congo are experiencing death, crops and homes destroyed, homelessness and food shortages.
