At the time of the writing of this article the State of Ohio is on the eve of a November election that could have a devastating effect on families in Ohio, and especially parents. That is because on Ohio’s November 7th ballot are two issues, both of which both have their bull’s-eye on parental rights, one in particular because it is an actual amendment change to Ohio’s constitution.
Targeting Parents
The broad sweeping Ohio Issue 1 clearly targets unsuspecting parents and taxpayers using abortion/transgender rights as a smokescreen. As a matter of fact, the broad and deceptive language found in the amendment itself could literally apply to any sex act that anyone chooses to practice. This, with the State not only protecting that choice, but in many cases likely to end up paying for it with taxpayer dollars.
By the time you read this article the vote count will be in and I shudder to think what that will look like. I say that because I have 3 main concerns and possible reasons that both of these horrific issues will eventually pass. Not my desire but my fear.
