After Jesus rose from the dead, and before He ascended into heaven, He said to His disciples in Luke 24:44, “These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the (writing) of Moses,” when it was said to Eve in the garden that of her seed a Savior will come to save mankind from the penalty of sin, death!
And that which was written “in the prophets,” (Isaiah 7:14) “The Lord shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
(Isaiah 53:5, 7, 9) “But He was wounded for our (sins), He was bruised for our (evil thought: the disciplines) of our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes (beatings) we are healed… and the Lord hath laid on Him the (evil) of us all… and He made His grave with the wicked and with the rich in His death.”
(Isaiah 61:1) “The Lord hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek… to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and opening of the prison to them that are bound. To proclaim the acceptable year… the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourn.” All planned before creation to destroy the damage done by Satan.
