A man ran into an old friend and she began telling him about her church. She mentioned a few “ministries” they were involved in and about a new female pastor they had just hired.
When she finished, he asked her what they were doing about the “Great Commission” and she replied they had Sunday School, youth group and a study group for teens. The man replied that those are for discipling the children of the church members, not for sharing the Gospel to the lost.
He then, again, asked what they were doing to share the Gospel in the community. She replied they have a couple fundraisers and invite people to join different events they have throughout the year.
The man replied that those were good but, again, that is not doing anything for those in the community who are lost but do not KNOW they are lost, which is why God commands us to, “Go...” out to the lost and share the Gospel and warn them.
He then asked her if she is going out to share the Gospel to the lost regularly. She admitted she does not, but then she tried to justify it by saying nobody else does either.
He then asked her if she is doing anything for the “least” of her neighbors. After a short pause, she stated that she would help anyone IF they NEEDED it.
