According to official FBI reports, two improvised explosive devices were reportedly planted between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on January 5, 2021; one was allegedly placed between a park bench and a bush at the Democratic National Committee headquarters, and another at the Republican National Committee headquarters.
Despite closed circuit video footage covering the DNC from multiple angles, video covering the streets used by the suspect to travel between locations, an alleged robust investigation by the FBI, and a hefty $50,000 reward offered for any information leading to an arrest, the suspect has yet to be identified or caught.
According to official FBI statements and photographs of the devices, both IEDs were pipe bombs crafted from a metal tube, metal end caps, and a 60-minute egg timer with wires fed through each end. Official FBI reports insisted that they contained explosive material and could cause property damage and/or death had the bombs gone off.
The pipe bomb at the DNC was reportedly found by an unidentified plainclothes Capitol Police officer, and the other by a female passerby.
That’s the official story by the FBI – and they’re sticking to it. Newly uncovered information and excellent investigation done by fantastic and indefatigable investigative journalists including Darren Beattie (Revolver News), Steve Baker (The Blaze), Matt Taibbi, Matthew Shellenberger, Julie Kelly, and others, with assistance from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY 4th District), the “official narrative” is imploding upon itself. It’s also raising many disturbing questions.
Considering new information and recently obtained video, the official story provided by the FBI and Department of Justice about the pipe bombs cannot be true. Furthermore, the appearance, apparent construction including the type and size of the materials, matches the exact design of explosive training devices used by the FBI as depicted in their contemporaneous training manuals.
Readers will recall that a critical and contentious Electoral College vote to certify the 2020 election was scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at the US Capitol, and objections to the vote were scheduled by house members that would potentially cause the delay in certification while the objections – claims of fraud – were to be investigated. Due to exquisitely-timed breach of the Capitol (exactly the time Ray Epps was a prominent actor) just several minutes before the scheduled vote, however, the motions to investigate the claims never took place – and forever changed history.
With all eyes now focused on the events at the US Capitol, the story of the pipe bombs quickly assumed footnote status, despite the legal classification of such devices as “weapons of mass destruction” by federal law enforcement.
High-Level Strangeness & Serendipitous Timing
Among the issues that strain credulity is that both bombs, supposedly in place for 16-17 hours and not well hidden (in the case of the DNC bomb, publicly visible), were both independently found within 15 minutes of each other by two different individuals, and within a window that could have stopped the certification process at the US Capitol. After all, could there be more. What are the odds that both were untouched for over 16 hours and then found in time to disrupt congress – if needed?
The Bomb at the RNC
We were told that the “RNC bomb” was placed at the RNC headquarters. New information, including hand-drawn illustrations of the scene, including the sizes of the buildings, were exaggerated. It was ultimately determined that the bomb was placed near a rodent trap by a dumpster at The Capitol Hill Club, across the street from the RNC. We were also told that a random female passerby saw the device, but only after walking past it three times.
The woman who found this device was identified as Karlin Younger. She notified the security official at the Capitol Hill Club, who just happened to be a veteran of the US Capitol Police and used his Capitol police channels to report the bomb rather than the normal emergency number. In another stroke of serendipity, the timer on the bomb, found at 12:40 p.m., had precisely 20 minutes left of its 60-minute dial, matching the exact time of the congressional proceedings. Considering that the bomb was allegedly placed there some 16 hours earlier, that’s one heck of an intuitive timer.
It's a Small World After All
According to a report published by journalist Julie Kelly on January 21, 2024, “[Karlin] Younger was a project manager for FirstNet Authority, a public-private partnership between AT&T and first responders to prioritize emergency communications during an attack or disaster. Standing board members for FirstNet include the attorney general and secretary of Homeland Security. Several federal agencies, including the Justice Department, use FirstNet services.
“And a few weeks before January 6, FirstNet received its largest-ever commitment from a law enforcement agency, a $92 million contract for FirstNet’s services. That agency was the FBI.”
Also reported by Ms. Kelly, “Younger has since left FirstNet and cofounded a security technology start-up firm. Her work with a firm funded by the FBI deserves at least a few raised eyebrows. No one still trying to convince the public that two pipe bombs were planted near the Capitol in advance of January 6 can be believed. In fact, quite to the contrary, the public should automatically distrust anything out of the FBI.”
The DNC Bomb
It is here that the bomb plot really gets strange. Most readers will recall seeing grainy footage of the hoodie- and mask-wearing person walking to a bench at the DNC, sitting down, and appearing to place something, presumably a pipe bomb, between the bench and a bush. The device was not very well hidden. Remote controlled PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras covered the entire area around the DNC. The footage provided by the FBI, however, was deliberately tampered with.
The average frame rate of most modern PTZ cameras is 30 frames per second, or close to that rate. The video released by the FBI was manually rendered down to a mere 1.5 fps. Also, video of the suspect from one of the several cameras in the area – the camera that would provide the best footage of the suspect placing the alleged bomb, has never been released by the FBI or the Capitol Police.
But it gets worse. Video footage recently released to Rep. Massie and Julie Kelly, obtained by Darren Beatie and the other journalists shows several activities that are both disturbing and curious when considered in the context of the scheduled Electoral College vote.
Particularly curious are the activities of then Senator and Vice-President Elect Kamala Harris and her Secret Service detail. On this most important day, when Harris should have been – and was thought to be present at the US Capitol for the Electoral Process (she would be serving in her capacity as US Senator for the vote, she was not at the US Capitol.
After attending an intelligence briefing in the morning, Harris left the capitol and spent about two hours at the DNC headquarters, arriving at the DNC with her Secret Service detail at about 11:25 a.m. She stayed at the DNC until 15 minutes after the certification vote was to start, leaving at 1:15 p.m. Why? What was she doing at the DNC at the very time the Electoral certification was to take place? Additionally, why did she keep her whereabouts secret?
Equally troubling is the matter of the bomb next to the bench at the DNC. Video shows an explosive sniffing dog at the DNC at 9:50 a.m., first checking a vehicle parked on the driveway, and then performing a perimeter search, moving out of camera frame in the direction of where the alleged bomb was found. The dog and its handler would have had to walk past the device without seeing it or sniffing it out.
At 11:25 a.m., video shows Kamala Harris arriving at the DNC with her security detail, driving within 15 feet of the alleged bomb location supposedly placed there over 16 hours prior. Subsequent to her arrival, a Capitol Police vehicle and a US Secret Service SUV — both occupied — are seen parked on the driveway at the DNC – the same driveway used by Harris.
At 1:05, an unidentified male slowly walks to the Capitol Police vehicle, speaks to the occupants, then walked to the black SUV and speaks to the occupants of that vehicle. It was later confirmed that the unidentified male who “found” the bomb is a plainclothes Capitol Police officer who notified the on-site security detail. Despite this potentially catastrophic discovery, no one, from the officer who made the discovery to members of Harris’ security detail appeared to be in any hurry (even taking a few minutes to finish their lunch in their vehicles) before acting on the discovery. During that time, several pedestrians passed within yards of the potentially deadly WMD, including a group of young children. Furthermore, Harris was not evacuated for another 10 minutes.
I have some questions; you should as well. Here are just a few of mine:
Curiously and shortly after the area was (finally) cordoned off at the DNC, the manually controlled cameras pointed at the DNC property were turned 90 degrees away from the scene. Why?
Why was Kamala Harris, an important part of the Electoral College certification, away from the US Capitol at the time the vote was scheduled to take place? Who was she meeting at the DNC, and for what purposes?
Why did Kamala Harris, and other January 6 Committee members, keep her location secret during the most historic time in American history?
How did trained US Secret Service agents, trained Capitol police officers, an explosive detection dog and trained handler, fail to find a bomb “hidden in plain view?”
How is it possible that both bombs were found within 15 minutes of each other, independent of one another, at a critical time in the Electoral College certification process?
Were the “bombs” placed as an insurance policy to create a diversion in the event the breach of the capitol building did not happen as planned, when planned?
What is the government hiding? The digging will continue.
