Biden Admin Bans ‘Religious Designs’ for Easter, Declares it Transgender Day

Normally, an unpopular president running for a second term would try to avoid flouting the sensibilities of much of the public, but as a weak candidate terrified of the Leftist fringe in his own party, Biden panders to them and offends Americans.

Children of the National Guard are prohibited from submitting religious Easter egg designs for the 2024 “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event at the White House.

The art contest is part of the White House’s Easter traditions, which include the annual Easter Egg Roll.

The flyer for the contest states that an Easter egg design submission “must not include any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements.”

No religious symbols are allowed… on Easter. Instead, the Biden regime is pushing Transgender themes.

“I, Joseph R. Biden Jr., president of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility,” the White House announced March 29.

The Democratic president issued the proclamation on Friday, calling on “all Americans to join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our Nation.”

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said on social media that the “Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter” and called the decision “outrageous and abhorrent.”

The Biden administration accused Republicans of “seeking to divide and weaken our country with cruel, hateful and dishonest rhetoric.”

Is it really the people complaining about the marginalization of traditional Christian beliefs who are dividing and weakening the country or the ones banning religious themes and replacing Easter with Transgender Day?

There is a beautiful way forward.
